EC Certification

Class I medical device products should not necessarily bear EC Certificates . They can be registered in the PTS only with submittal of DoCs and other requisite information and documents. All EC Certificates to be entered in the PTS need to be translated into Turkish by a legally recognized translation professional. Afterwards, notarial attestation shall be required, if the original document is not to be submitted to TITCK. Fees asked by Notaries for legalization purposes will remain unchanged across the country, since the procedure is regulated by the Act of Fees. However, the overall cost of legalization may be reduced by half, if the content is printed on both sides of standard DIN-A4 size paper, to be used for this transaction , as stated in a formal reply supplied in courtesy to our previous letter inquiry with ref. 1701529408 before the competent administrative bodies.
